This makes it easier to change your logo if you do make an update in a year or two, or if you sell the channel/business, change names, etc. If you’re a business, using a YouTube watermark with your logo as opposed to putting the logo in the video manually is recommended. It’s a free feature and it may only result in a couple of viewers subscribing to your channel, but every subscriber counts, and those subscribers might be the most engaged which triggers more growth for your channel. You do not need a watermark for your YouTube channel, but if you want to grow your YouTube channel then it is highly recommended.
